Sometimes I forget just how beautiful California is. While driving up PCH on my way San Luis Obispo, I couldn’t help but stare in awe at the beauty that surrounded me. From breathtaking ocean views to incredible mountains now painted the colors of fall, let’s just say the drive wasn’t exactly tortuous. I was so excited to make the trip up the coast to visit my dear friend who I just happened to meet in Costa Rica. We were inseparable during the entire four weeks we were abroad so these past few months have seemed odd without her by my side. Once I got there though, it was like no time had passed. I bonded with her brother, basically fell in love with her puppy and just loved wandering San Luis Obispo (especially since its so different from Los Angeles). The change of scenery was necessary and I couldn’t think of a better way to spend my Halloween weekend than with an old friend making new ones.
